🚣‍♂️ Guided Backcountry Exploration: Glide through tranquil waters in provided kayaks, led by expert guides, on a captivating journey into the heart of the Everglades. Your route covers approximately 12 miles of paddling roundtrip, ensuring you're fully immersed in the wild beauty of this remarkable landscape.

📸 Professional Photography Instruction: Receive comprehensive in-field photography guidance during 4 hours of dedicated instruction. Whether you're a novice or experienced photographer, you'll learn to capture the mesmerizing dance of light and stars that define the nocturnal Everglades.

📚 Online Preparatory Session: Your journey begins before the workshop with an online class on the Wednesday prior to your adventure. Dive into essential techniques and concepts, setting the stage for an enriching experience amidst the wilderness.

🎒 Classroom Materials: Enhance your learning with valuable classroom resources that provide insight into the art of night photography, ensuring your skills endure beyond the workshop.

What Will You Learn

Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and relaxed learning environment where we teach you essential tools for unlocking your creative potential. You'll learn astrophotography basics such as planning, exposure triangle, night focusing, time-lapses, and single exposures. We'll also cover advanced techniques like, panoramas and stacking. Expect individualized instruction to help you unleash your creativity!

  • Photography Gear

    -A mirrorless or DSLR camera.

    -A sturdy tripod and a remote shutter.

    -A wide-angle lens, such as 14-24 mm or 16-35 mm.

    -A medium zoom lens, such as 24-70 mm.

    -A camera bag to transport all your equipment.

    -A headlamp for the night shoots.

    -Glow-in-the-dark tape for your tripod.

  • All ages are welcome! We typically have a variety of ages, but we’ve had participants ranging from their teens all the way through their 80s.
